A full building permit has been issued for a mixed-use building at 1887 N. Milwaukee. Located along N. Milwaukee Ave, the site is located between N. Oakley Ave and N. Western Ave. Proposed by Tyrconnell LLC, the project site is currently a vacant building that used to house a muffler and auto repair shop.
Designed by Stoneberg + Gross Architects, the mixed-use building will stand three stories tall, reaching a height of 35 feet tall. The ground floor will have a daycare facility occupying 4,200 square feet and three parking spaces at the back of the site. The upper floors will have six apartments that are all three-bedroom layouts.
With the full building permit issued, general contractor Stecor Construction Corporation can begin construction and work through completion.
