Permit issued for residential development at 3339 N. Ridgeway

A full building permit has been issued for a residential development at 3339 N. Ridgeway. Located on a midblock parcel, the project site is located between W. Roscoe St and W. School St. Wentworth 39 LLC, who is the developer behind the proposal, will demolish the existing three-story three-flat that occupies the property.

Designed by Vari Architects, the new two-story building will have five residential units and 5 parking spaces at the back of the property. Three of the units will be duplex downs occupying the ground floor and basement. Two simplexes will occupy the second floor, with access up to private roof decks. All of them will have three bedrooms and outdoor decks.

Reaching 25 feet in height, the brick structure will be clad in face brick with limestone banding and copings. The patios will have painted metal railings.

With the permit issued, general contractor Profus Construction Corp can begin construction and work through completion.
