A full building permit has been issued for The Kensington School’s new three-story daycare center at 1220 W. Adams. Located just west of the intersection of S. Racine Ave and W. Adams St, the building will be near Skinner Park.
Designed by Charles Vincent George Architects, the three-story building will feature a symmetrical front facade made up of brick with tall windows, stone accents, and a central entryway into the building. A surface parking lot at the back of the property will have 20 parking spaces for employees and drop-offs.
With the permit issued, general contractor Charles Hall Construction can begin work on the new building.
