City Council approves residential development at 2240 W. Coulter

The Chicago City Council has approved plans for a new residential development at 2240 W. Coulter. Planned by Bon Bon Developers LLC, the project site is located at the northwest corner of W. Coulter St and S. Bell Ave. The property is currently vacant.

Designed by BLX Design, the new building will stand three stories tall with a basement. The project will have four residential units with four car parking spaces at the back of the property along the alley. The residential entry will front S. Bell Ave.

Inside, two three-bedroom duplex units will occupy the first floor and basement while the upper two floors will be home to two more three-bedroom duplex units. The lower units have sunken terraces at the front and back and the upper units have private rooftop decks.

With City Council approval secured, the site will be rezoned from RS-3 to B2-3. The developer can now move forward with permitting and construction.
