Two demolition permits have been issued to make way for a residential development at 1412 N. Elk Grove. Planned by Volo Development, the project site is a midblock site between N. Wood St and N. Honore St that sits against an alley. Two existing structures currently occupy the property.

Designed by Hanna Architects, the new construction will be a three-story building with six residential units on the inside. Residents will have access to a roof deck as well as terraces on the first and second floor. A total of six parking spaces will be provided in two garages that will have their own roof decks.

With demolition permits issued, contractor Demox Inc can demolish the existing two-story masonry structure at 1410 N. Elk Grove and the four-story masonry structure at 1412 N. Elk Grove to make way for the new construction. With the full building permit already issued, general contractor Diamond Partnership LLC can begin construction once the existing buildings have been demolished.
