Full building permit issued for bathhouse at 8 N. Morgan

A full building permit has been issued for the three-story bathhouse planned at 8 N. Morgan. Planned by Fulton Street Companies, the project site is a surface parking lot located at the northwest corner of W. Madison St and N. Morgan St.

Designed by Gensler, the plan envisions a 40,000 square foot, three-story spa set to be occupied by New York-based Bathhouse. The building is set to include a rooftop restaurant and pool. Renderings show a brick-clad facade with rounded corners and opaque glazing.

With the piling permit and the foundation permit already issued, the issuance of the full building permit will allow general contractor DCS Midwest to continue construction and work through completion.
