A full building permit has been issued for a mixed-use development at 1642 W. North. Planned by 1642 W North Ave LLC, the property is located midblock between N. Marshfield Ave and N. Paulina St in Wicker Park. A demolition permit has already been issued to clear the existing structure from the site. 

Designed by Michael S. Cox, the new development will stand four stories tall. The ground floor will have a professional office space, and the upper three floors will be home to three residential units accessed via an elevator for the dwellings. Two parking spaces will be located at the back of the property.

With the full building permit issued, general contractor Carlos Group Inc can begin construction and work through completion.
