A full building permit has been issued for a new mixed-use development at 3037 N. Lincoln. Planned by 3027-37 LINCOLN LLC, the project will occupy a midblock site along N. Lincoln Ave between W. Wellington Ave and W. Barry Ave.
Designed by Hanna Architects, plans or renderings for the new project have not been released, but the issued permit indicates that the project will be a four-story mixed-use building. The ground floor will have retail space as well as a garage with 15 parking spaces. The upper three floors will have 15 residential units with a rooftop deck for residents.
To make way for the project, a three-story masonry building at 3027 N. Lincoln, a two-story masonry building at 3029 N. Lincoln, and a three-story masonry building at 3037 N. Lincoln will all be demolished. Demolition permits were issued for the buildings back in July. With the new construction permit issued, general contractor Promised Land Development can begin construction of the new building.
