Renovation permit issued for office to residential conversion at 688 N. Milwaukee

A renovation permit has been issued for the conversion of office space to residential at 688 N. Milwaukee. Planned by Property Adventures Corporation, the existing three-story building stands at the intersection of N. Morgan St and N. Milwaukee Ave. 

Designed by Kennedy Mann, the residential conversion will renovate the upper two floors of the building into 22 apartments. Other than the renovations on the top two floors, work will also include a renovated lobby for residents and a bike room that will be added in the basement.

Property Adventures Corporation, who is also serving as the general contractor, has already received an interior demolition permit for the conversion and the issuance of the renovation permit will allow for new construction to commence within the building. A timeline for construction has not been announced.
