Urbanize recently toured The Saint Grand, a mixed-use development wrapping up construction at 218 E. Grand in Streeterville. Planned by Mavrek Development, GW Properties, Luxury Living, and Double Eagle Development, the structure topped off over the northeast corner of N. St. Clair St and E. Grand Ave back in August 2023. NORR was the architect for the building with Lendlease leading construction.
With the tour led by Mavrek Development and Luxury Living, we began by seeing the lobby, which fronts E. Grand Ave. The lobby space features a food delivery room tucked out of site and a leasing center for easy access with potential tenants. The building includes 7,500 square feet of ground floor retail space at the corner of the site that is ready to be built out and a bike room in the back is available for residents and office tenants.
Heading up to the second and third floors, we walked through the parking garage which will accommodate 100 cars, with 20 EV spots already installed in the space. As a feature of Mavrek Development projects, the parking features a vivid mural across the walls.
On the fourth and fifth floors, the building hosts a boutique 45,000 square feet of office space, offering a unique flagship opportunity in Streeterville that includes the possibility of large signage on the corner of the building with visibility from the Mag Mile and Grand Avenue as visitors walk to Navy Pier. The office space will have its own private entrance and office lobby from N. St. Clair St. The office tenants will have access to the parking garage as well.
Heading up to the top floor, the 21st level will be entirely amenity space, including a large outdoor deck. Residents and office tenants will have access to a resident lounge, 10 private co-working spaces and conference rooms, a fitness center with yoga studio, and a large outdoor deck with a pool, cabanas, fire pits, and grilling stations. While amenities are still under construction, the spaces will be finished by the summer for residents to use.
Our final stop was three model units on the eighth floor. Seeing a convertible, one bed plus den, and two-bedroom configurations, residents will have floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies for select units, in-unit laundry, and luxury finishes.
With leasing underway, the first residents already moved in back at the end of March. The residential units are already 25% leased. Prospective residents can find more information at https://thesaintgrand.com/
