A full building permit has been issued for 1100 W. Randolph. Located at the intersection of W. Randolph St and N. Aberdeen St, the project site is currently vacant and being used by Greystar for staging for their 166 N. Aberdeen project. The new building is being developed by L3 Capital.
With a design by OKW Architects, the development will produce a three-story mixed-use building. Measuring a total of 30,000 square feet, the project will host two floors of retail space, with the top floor home to office space. According to permit filings, a basement storage space will be included.
L3 reportedly acquired the site in 2018 and the origins building was vacant. A temporary buildout for Louis Vuitton happened in the summer of 2019 before that structure was demolished in fall of 2019.
The $7 million permit was listed without a general contractor and no details have been made public about its construction timeline.
