111 Point, an office-to-apartment conversion at 111 W. Illinois, recently celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The building has also already surpassed its 65 percent leased milestone. Developed by WindWave Real Estate and Path Construction, who is also serving as the project's general contractor, 111 Point has transformed a former office building that was previously occupied by Salesforce and WeWork.

With Pappageorge Haymes Partners serving as the architect, the plan calls for the conversion of office floors five through 10 into 153 residential units. The development will offer a mix of studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom + den, and two-bedroom units. The apartments will feature 10- to 11-foot ceilings, expansive windows, generous walk-in closets, in-unit laundry, and large kitchens.
