Permits issued for mixed-use development at 2072 N. Western

A full building permit has been issued for a mixed-use development at 2072 N. Western. Planned by Panoptic Group, the site is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of W. Charleston St and N. Western Ave. Previously home to Red Hot Ranch, the site has a small one-story building and surface parking that will be demolished.

Designed by Hanna Architects, the new construction will be a four-story mixed-use building. Its ground floor will have retail space and nine car parking spaces. The upper three floors will have nine residential units with outdoor decks on each floor as well as a rooftop deck.

A demolition permit was recently issued to clear the site to make way for the new development. With the full building permit also issued, Panoptic Group, who is also serving as the general contractor, can begin construction and work through completion. A timeline for completion has not been announced.
