The Zoning Board of Appeals has approved a variation for a residential development at 6601 S. Evans. Planned by Click Development LLC, the project site is currently a vacant lot at the southwest corner of S. Evans Ave and E. Marquette Rd.

Designed by Houts Architects, the development will be a three-story structure with a partial basement. The development will deliver seven new residential units with one accessible two-bedroom unit on the ground floor and six three-bedroom units in the rest of the building.

The Zoning Board of Appeals approved a variation to reduce the off-street parking requirement from six spaces down to five. This approval will allow the project to move forward and wrap up permitting before beginning construction. A timeline for permit issuance and construction is currently unknown.
